Leonardo Manzari
Leonardo Manzari is a specialist ENT doctor with a passion for otoneurology and vestibular sciences. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and trained as a Registrar in ENT/ORL in Edinburgh. For many years, he has collaborated with Prof. Ian S. Curthoys (Barany Gold Medal) at the Vestibular Research Laboratory in Sydney, contributing to the clinical validation of vHIT and research on ocular and cervical VEMPs and cranial vibration stimulation. He teaches Otoneurology, Vestibology and Vestibular Rehabilitation and coordinates national ECM courses. A speaker at numerous international conferences such as Bárány and IFOS, he sits on the boards of the Prosper Ménière Society and the International Vestibular Society and on various editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals. Author of over 110 publications, in 2023 he was included among the top 2% of scientists worldwide.
